At Lichfield Diamonds we offer quality football coaching to girls and ladies delivered by by the Clubs experienced FA qualified CRB checked male and female coaches. Players of any ability, age or experience are welcome to the weekly training sessions designed to enhance both their football and social skills through games and drills with the emphasis on fun.
  The Club was formed in 1991 starting with an U12 team and now currently runs teams from U8 through to U16 for Girls and Ladies Open Age. Over past years we have travelled far and wide giving players a taste of different cultures and playing styles from Holland and Belgium to the USA.
  Diamonds have been at the forefront of Girls football in Staffordshire for almost 20 years, being the first all Female Club to achieve Charter Standard Status. The facilities & pitches at our Collins Field Sports Ground and Glebe Farm homes are second to none befitting our status as Staffordshires Premier Ladies/Girls Football Club.
 

Having progressed through the West Midland Regional League Diamonds Ladies side are now well established within the FA National League structure playing in the Midland Combination. Season 2005/6 saw the Ladies earn the Club £500 in prize money from a successful FA Cup run with many of the team having come through the Clubs junior system.
Diamonds are now taking their knowledge and experience into Boys football from season 09/10 which we aim to grow and hope it will be as successful as the girls section.
  The Clubs success to date is down to all the hard work of past and present coaching staff, members, players, sponsors and last but not least parents.
